ITINERARy
Day 1 - After admiring the beautiful landscapes of Cuesta del Obispo We go deeper into the Andes range through very little transited roads, reaching 4000mts through gorges of incredible textures and colors.
We finnally arrive to the small mountain school of Cerro Negro, at this place there is no longer road for vehicules and children from the nearby areas come to be taught during the all week.
We camp under the shadow of the massive Cerro Negro mountain, also called Malcante in indian language.
Day 2 - From the school we begin our trekking through the middle of gorges, going up and down trails, crossing small mountain rivers that will acompany us through our journey.
Our way will take us by settlers huts, that cultivate land and goats. While we reach lower heights we will notice the difference in plants, going from a very dry place towards a more humid one. We finnally reach our campsite, another mountain school, Escuela del Manzano.
Day 3 - From the school we go through a trail full of nature, with incredible cliffs full of green. An endless amount of streams of fresh water will cross our path, we will be able to enjoy the beauty of cascades on the opossite hillside.
After lunch we will have reached the school of Corralito where our trek ends un we are taken back to Salta.
