ITINERARy
Day 1 - Only minutes away from town is the nice and green village of San Lorenzo, gate to explore the Yungas, a wet forest that holds and incredible amount of bio-diversity.
Half a day trek will allow us the change to have a good look at the Yungas while walking through trails that very few people walk.
Woodpeckers(campephilus leucopogon), kingfishers(megaceryle torquata) and the Plush-Crested Jay(cyano corax chrysops) are commonly seen in the forest, trails are adorn by an incredible amount of ferns of all sort and many other plants. There is also the possibility to spot the Corzuelas, a small and very nice type of deer from the region.
